My take : increasing extremism on either side. I felt we are seeing this trend increase exponentially in almost everything around us.
People appear as extremists mostly to folks who have no firm opinion of their own.
Does being a centrist with balanced views make someone non-opinionated? I feel centrism in itself is an opinion, isn't it?
Centrists have an opinion that lean towards either/ sides. They're the intersection in the Venn diagram.
No opinion is not centrism. It's abstention.
