Resignation and work

If an employee in the team resigns, and stops contributing to work, delays tasks and misses deadlines. What should his/her manager do to resolve this?

Seems like you are manager! Most of them hate their managers. If salary < work then manager becomes the evil not the management. As always hire new candidate to clean up the pile of tasks or force the team to pickup more, eventually more will quit, ending up bad progress and you might think about switching. It’s a smooth game one has to play. So find a company where you have to manage a huge team. You can push few people by influencing them for personal growth but in actual for mutual benefits. Stay evil but not toxic🫠

You can't do much frankly. Even if you fire company have to pay money as per contract and you have to prove why there is need to fire an employee. They may not adhere to all the deadlines in NP. Everyone in the industry know this already. You can ask them to put in more effort voluntarily but you can't put much pressure. Even if you do nothing concrete is gonna come out.

Ask if the employee want a early release and give a early exit. Legally and actually, you can't do much. Focus on other people.

I have a question: What is the notice period in TCS for an associate? Is the notice period different for someone on the bench?
