Mindset Struggles

I am not sure but these days, whenever I see any woman in my office, the first question I always get in my mind is, 'Does she know s**t or was she hired only for the sake of diversity?'

This attitude has taken over my mind so much that I feel I have become a misogynist to some extent.

But thinking deep about it, I realise that my attitude is probably because of the many good opportunities I was denied being a male, whereas subpar female talent was hired.

Anyone else had similar experiences? What do you feel about it?

Life is unfair. Accept it and move on. Work harder and only look into your plate not others.

Hey man, thanks for the motivation. But sometimes I feel disheartened to feel people less talented than me getting hired

Hey, it's not really necessary, I have seen many female colleagues who are too sharp, focused and hardwork, in almost all the orgs i have worked in. Maybe my luck, but there are many deserving ladies out there.

I have had over 8-10 managers in my life in a career spanning over 8 years, 5 of them were female managers and unfortunately the experience with 4 of them were very bad. They’re either micro managers, or power hungry, want to be dominant...
