Is ₹12L no-tax, a water bubble?

I don’t think there is anything like “historic”, yes it is good, but “historic”, “great”, nope. They brought this relieving change after past so many disastrous and frustrating tax changes- like new tax regime, code on wages act etc. So No, it is definitely nowhere close to “historic”.

I am hoping they start progressive Capital Gains tax. Hope they have tax brackets on CG.

Like 0-2L, no tax 2-3L: 10% 3L+: 20% 10L+: income tax slab

Will give a breather for middle class folks and even many upper urban higher classes, while effectively taxing executives and promoters.
