No pleasing changes can be done in an interim budget as a rule and honestly only single digit % of population pays tax in India. If they the tax collected on reduce even that then India will go backrupt in the long term

I'd benefit from tax relaxation as well, not like I'm a rich guy but there is more to it than just people wanting lower taxes. We need to increase our defence spending as well given the global and border tensions
