Diversity hiring (bank -mnc) has gotten to a point where I am only dealing with female stakeholders now as opposed to 10 years ago where I was dealing only with male stakeholders. What a fantastic change it has been! (Not sarcasm)

All my bosses (and many times bosses of bosses) have been female. I work in tech.

Point is diversity hiring is working, we have more female representation in c-suite than ever before…

Of course, it was bound to. More hired females logically translates to more female representation in leadership.

IMO, this also means that there never was a big discrimination or opportunity problem after hiring (in promotions et al). They fixed the hiring pipeline and solved the supply-side bottleneck leading to more female representation in leadership.

Makes me wonder if solving this at an even more grassroots level will lead to even better results ie. ensuring more women are a part of the working economy and more women are educated.
