What exactly is an acceptable increment %?

Especially if you're in an organisation for less than a year.

I see people boasting about a 20% increment, but I understand that they're experienced professionals.

I know that something more than 5 would be good enough(?) as I still have the imposter syndrome, but let me know how much one should expect if it's quarterly, and after 1 year.

Thanks.

What's quarterly and after one year? If after 1 year 15+ is good in your first year.

I haven't completed a year in my org yet, we're having conversations regarding appraisal.

Depends on a variety of factors: Stage of org (early stage startup -> MNCs), uniqueness of your role & Biz impact,
and base salary (higher bracket = lower increments).

Salary increment range?

What kinds of salary increments are expected during an APR (with/without promotion) if one’s base salary is 18LPA?

I want to gather a general understanding of how increments work in big tech companies and unicorn startups.
