Do people get increment every year or only during promotion? and what is the average increment in big 4s?

What is the expected increment/variable pay this year across big4- Assurance dept.

Especially if you're in an organisation for less than a year.

I see people boasting about a 20% increment, but I understand that they're experienced professionals.
