What will be the expectation from such regulatory bodies? Why only startup's?

How do they identify a person who is about to commit suicide or did you meant they must after the suicide (but then what's the point)?

Good follow-up thought to have

  1. Regulate hours of service
  2. Enforce leaves
  3. Stronger workplace abuse laws
  4. Encourage healthy habits at work

All of this already exists. You cannot solve a problem if you keep using the same ineffective regulations or laws. For that you just need law enforcement to become more effective.

No need for an regulatory body. Once the news is out, smart people will not join. The ones who join them will be people who couldn't find any employment.

Are you saying it ok to cause mental trauma to people who can’t find jobs in the false hope of building something?

Nothing will happen. These so called startups will brike the agencies and then just chill.

In India Regulatory bodies needs someone above to regulate them as well.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. No wonder govt appointed Madhbi Puri Buch was taking salary from private bank as well being Chairman of SebiπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… God knows she was working for whomπŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

Well, then these startups will retaliate and say that they are curbing innovation and progress. Maybe they will also have lower profits to show as most of the money will go into bribing the regulatory body to hide the multiple suicides that will happen.
