I have 1.5 years of experience in corporate as a software developer and am considering a job switch.
I’m curious about how salary negotiations typically work in India. Once we clear the tech interviews, do companies usually base their offers on previous salary, or would it be better to quote my expected range as long as it fits their budget? (Not referring to FAANG, as I know they generally follow role-based packages.) Any insights would be great!
