Those who are WFH earning nicely, what are you doing?
Life seems to be kinda on auto-pilot with a set routine. Not sure if this is the "privilege" people run after.
So try to make me """jealous""" (I won't be since it's stupid, but ykwim) - if you earn nicely in a WFH setup (say >70 L), what interesting things are you doing regularly/everyday?

And sometimes whole day with my Cows and Buffalos
Planning to start a Goat farm also

Hey bro, off topic bt i recently gave 2nd round of interview for ssde, it went well, then recruiter ghosted me and i haven't gotten any update or even rejection from the company it has been 3 weeks, do u happen to have any info on these kind of processes
Mf living the dream

I play badminton , have a trip once in 2 months, but yeah it gets monotonous sometimes
damn oyo is remote, sorry but by any chance are they hiring for analytics role ?

Yeah. How long trips do you take?

My office location is in a nearby(compared to others) Metro city ( 6-7 hour train ride),which i go once or twice a month.Sometimes even after 2 months.
Live in village
Yes,online ordering is a big missing peice and the parties/clubs/alcohol/ciggerates and the dating scene/fun , you'll miss them all, a lot sometimes. But on the other hand
The super pure/clean air , super clean water , all the neighborhood without any plastic/chemical waste , super slow paced life all around you ( almost everyone is sleeping at 7-8 PM ) , all the big space/rooms/Balcony/roof/yard/backyard you have to play/casually grow trees / make bonfires in winter / learn to grow different types of trees/vegetables(even Dhaniya patta(coriander leaves) which i always had to order via blinkit..
The list can go on and on
But truth be told , you cannot keep living continuously more than 2-3-4 months if you are a little spoiled by good beer/whisky/high sessions with friends/hinge dates etc .
I've found that going once a month to your 'Metro city' for all this can act like a much needed fun vacation
Atleast you will have reset your body health by living in village like areas and definitely increased your lifespan by 10-15 years.
Definitely recommend 10/10 experience for few months/years even if you have to take a pay cut.you always read news articles about all the bad effects of eating outside food(I'm lazy so cannot cook daily and the hired cook just doesn't work for foodies like me

TIL nice is 70L 🫠

Not much solid thought behind that figure. Please share regardless of income. The internet seems to have a lot of cribbers so just quoted a high number lol (also significantly higher chances of their attempt being successful for what I asked).
And also it's just that 70-70% is around 20-21. It can happen that the in-hand is a minority part of your compensation (Oracle does that), and it's the in-hand which actually determines the liquid (everyday or leisure) spending.

I have been doing wfh job since last 3 years as SDE. I am not earning that big salary as of now . I do go for swim , I learn Indian classical music . But sometimes I also get bored working alone in room . Of course Imposter Syndrome exists in my life 😮💨

Awesome! Learning classical music is a great thing.
And don't worry about being an imposter. You aren't! See this video while we are here on this topic: https://youtu.be/uPrXEtvKFoI?si=xp9gP_0vzCQHDJwD

Did you start classical from scratch? That's a massive W, sometimes I do wish I had such ability.
Also, don't worry about money. That big is anyways an exception. And it made the bait successful.

My days used to go this way (btw I was making 30lpa but as a freelancer):
- Wake up by 8.
- Goto the gym 2-3 hour session
- Start working at around 2pm and complete my day by 11pm
- Take my RE out and drive around for 20-40kms
- Sleep by 1am.
No trip no visits since I was paying off some of my debts and taking care of my family.

You are lucky to have it. Right now I am at 30lpa, 5yoe. I want to do WFH on even half of salary, parents are ageing, any referrals in credit risk, data scientist or other role

Half of salary? Really?
