Curious, I have been pretty blind sided from the real money gaming space. Anybody actually seen instances of people being addicted/throwing away large amounts of money on Dream11/MPL etc?

Have heard a lot about poker and real money apps. Folks get addicted and end up losing all the savings. Sometimes they end up committing suicide.
Some of the real money apps like teen pati have a warning on the app about addiction.
My friend was a pm at one of such apps, and they literally built feature around de addiction and not allowing to play after a certain limit.

Just to be clear, tech illiteracy is also there overseas in legal strata. Just check videos when some tech guy like Mark Zuckerberg is called for questioning

The warnings are like warnings on smoking cigarettes. It serves only legal requirements and doesn't actually stop them from continuing 😅
