I am looking to switch from BI/DE to Software Engineering or AI/ML. I have more than 11 years of experience and I come from a non BTech background. I have done commerce but with my learning I am working on DE. I am looking to switch.
So my question is, will it it be good considering the code generation is happening mostly through AI to get into Software Engineering or AI/ML?
There are more DE jobs than DS jobs,
Also DS jobs are mostly research based and can be frustrating.
I'd suggest you to go for devops or software engineering
