How much does it cost to stay in a decent PG near lower parel?
This would be my 1st time in a mumbai PG. In Bangalore, we can manage with 15-20k (with food) in good pg.
How's the scene in Mumbai? Also, is there a hack to find an affordable place?
Hi, I am also looking to move to Mumbai for a job in a new organization , I have been looking for a PG Via online sites and found few at resaonable rates of qound 12 to 15 k for 2 peole sharing , please let me know are those ok , I am looking for a Stay area close to red metro line
PG concept is not very prevalent in Mumbai. Take a house on rent and then based on the size, share it with multiple roomies. 1BHK on rent in LP will cost you 40k to 60k, but if you start going little farther (Parel, Lalbaug, etc.) then it starts going down to 30k to 40k
I didn't find any decent PGs in Mumbai.. better to stay in a sharing flat.. flat rents would be high in southern areas like lower parel.. flat rent decent 2BHK starts from 50K, this can be shared between 2-4 people.. food and all is additional and should be managed by self/with house helps.. If you can manage (1-2 hrs) travel then consider staying away from core areas.. the rents would be cheaper (half)..
