Peak Toxicity at AT&T
I work in the CDO department of Bengaluru, AT&T. Managers, onshore and offshore here, are absolutely trash. They have absolutely 0 regards for your personal life.
Every single day, the managers on the onshore will create a false sense of urgency for delivering something that is not that important. They'll push you to work beyond your working hours, call you on the phone / whatsapp, and shamelessly ask you to do it "over the weekend" with no mention about comp-off.
When these points would be highlighted to them during opportunities like surveys, one on ones and sprint retrospectives, no acknowledgement will be made. Next day, they'll again come with another impossible deadline and ask you to get started asap (which is basically now).
Requesting people from AT&T who're reading this - Please push back. Don't entertain every request, and don't stay light night working on that "enhancement". It will ruin your life, and everyone else's too.

Ah, the typical toxic setup It's very tough to break out of it as a group, typically needs either toxic managers to leave or you to find something better
All because of Indian Managers. Period.

The same toxicity is within Deloitte USI as well and a common factor I have found out after taking to multiple people is that usually these kind of "managers/management" comprises of people who have no personal life and have managed to portray a fake front of them getting the work done image. Don't think that higher management doesn't know about it, they know it and they allow these people to prosper because end of the day the investors need profit and how do you provide that? By this environment, due to these scenariosany people don't get the chance to interview outside or skill up because they are burnt out. I encourage people to skill up and move out, I too am but I'm setting up a trap wherein once I'm gone they will be in a cesspool of shit they don't even have people to fix. That my revenge for the amount of disregard and disrespect they have shown towards me.

God i love it... At least you are doing what others dream of .. kuddos mate go for it and take revenge on behalf of everyone of us.

This is happening because people are accepting it thus others are suffering

Absolutely true. In the hopes of getting good appraisal people normalise this toxicity and later others have to suffer aswell and rant about it

Same at Accenture, but lesser pay.

INDIAN manager's sucks they don't know what it is meant to be a manager they think this job is for only harassing others

True
