What is the latest gossip you guys have heard at Paytm? Spill some beans
I am hearing that some new product head was hired just to give Shreyas Shrinivasan competition internally.
Is Shreyas Srinivasan now more focused on company politics and bickering rather than focusing on product building?
His largely talks about homepage designs only (like that's the only product management he knows), comes and gives gyaan but never had been able to deliver nos (his current KPIs are all red since 2 months), blames on other teams / external factors rather than owning things up like any half decent leader.
And most funny he and his minions (Neehar etc.) create full mess and then they start taking moral high ground / highlighting that how product is messed up once they pass responsibility to some other team.
No wonders Paytm lags so much behind PhonePe and GPay. When product leaders focus more on politics than getting work done, not sure how will key metrics grow.
And what's the homepage design he is worried about.
The design is complex and over Engineered. Thankfully the search is damn good to navigate through the mess.
Ii have heard that his new home page design is basically Paytm hoome page design of 2018/19 :)
Any idea what kinda leader Nahar is?
One of those guys who has been super lucky in terms of growth in life without much brain (he does not understand many first principle pieces) and attitude of team work sucks!
