Paypal Job Security???

I was checking some reviews about Paypal on line and found so many addressing the job security as a important concern in PayPal stating that they follow hire & fire policy.

Is it the situation in real? What is your opinion on PayPal in all aspects like work life balance, career growth, job security especially on PayPal Chennai.
