Nurturing My 6 yrs old daughter's Passion for Sports: Chess, Badminton, or Something Else?

I'm looking for some advice on nurturing my 6-year-old daughter's interest in sports. Given her school schedule and our budget, I'm keen on finding something she's passionate about. I've had experience with sports like badminton, chess, table tennis, and carrom, and I believe excelling in a sport can have a huge impact on her development.

Initially, I enrolled her in badminton for 3 months, but unfortunately, she didn't seem too keen, and the coach felt she wasn't taking it seriously (understandable given her age!). So, I decided to try something else. We switched to chess, and I'm thrilled to see her picking it up quickly in just 2 months! She's now able to beat lower-rated bots and players.

I'm planning to take her to some U8 tournaments to give her a taste of competitive play. If anyone has similar experiences or tips on how to support her growth in chess (or any other sport), I'd love to hear them! Specifically, I'd appreciate advice on balancing schoolwork, managing tournament nerves, and fostering her passion for the game!

Rare to see a parent encourage their kid to not get involved in the rat race and try something out of box. Kudos to you and your little one!

Westbridge chess academy is the right way to coach her !!! Let her play. Win/Defeat. She'll determine herself.
