Milan Bans Outdoor Smoking to Curb Pollution

  • Milan has become the first major Italian city to ban outdoor smoking unless smokers maintain a distance of at least 33 feet from others. The new rules, effective from January 1, aim to reduce secondhand smoke exposure and improve air quality.
  • The ban has sparked debate, with some viewing it as an infringement on personal freedom, while others see it as a necessary public health measure.
  • Initial enforcement has been lenient, with only 16 fines issued so far, but officials believe the rules will eventually lead to healthier habits and cleaner air.

How do you guys tackle the AQI?

Curious how you folks tackle it. I’m almost allergic to this, and makes my life miserable at this time of the year.

Air purifiers? No stepping out? Windows shut? Would be helpful to know
