I agree. Even when they are desperate to close, they talk arrogantly. Have had a personal encounter where I was not happy with the offer and I was negotiating. The MP guy was browbeating me into accepting for 3 weeks. This was even when the client firm sounded accommodating and increased the offer by 25%.
Word of advice, keep recording calls of recruiters. Mostly whenever the placement doesn't happen, it is because the consultant acts too smart and miscommunicates.

I'm genuinely curious as to who should feel entitled and who shouldn't. In every field someone or the other will feel entitled about their job. It's difficult to expect everyone to be humble.
