But at the same time on aggregate your company should represent whatever the society looks like. So 50-50

Depends on the team and supply (candidates) available. Marketing, hr, product usually have equal distribution. Engineering, ops lean heavily towards male (orgs sometimes go out of there way to reduce the hiring bar to maintain equality)
