Left a job on bad term?

Did you face any consequences later in your career because of the karma?

Happens all the time. Move on and don’t purposely burn the remnants of old bridges any further

I left a startup 6 months after telling them I couldn't take up a CEOs office role because it involved a lot of unethical data manipulation to please investors. My role was reduced and post 6 months I left

The startup is down in the dumps now, and in my case, it looks better that I left when they were at their peak

I could never keep in touch with the CXOs because of what happened, but the overall thing gave me a lot more confidence in getting to better roles over 2-3 years

I recently left Amazon. I was an SDE3 for just over a year. The reason being my manager was insane. He was trying to build empire. He just hired 2 more SDE3s with zero increase in actual team scope, just to compete with me. Also, he hired 8 SDE2s and 5 SDE1s to triple our team size from 6 to 21. The manager in question was an ex-WITCH ex-Project Manager, so he basically understands nothing about engineering. When I asked him why we hired so many people, he just said that as long as the people are there, the projects will come. If not, we can always get rid of them. He also casually hinted that I am not immune from the chopping block and that he expects twice as much output from me to maintain the same rewards. I resigned that very same day.

Left my previous startup, really bad wlb, we had meetings with ceo every Sunday to decide the roadmap.

Product head had no clue what was required to be done. Whatever requirement business gave, it was translated into a doc, that’s it. Folks used to call all night, for random stuff. Now this company is on verge of becoming unicorn (famous agri tech company)

Left the job in 4 mos, gave really bad feedback to manager, ofc there was no exit interview.

Hope I don’t cross path with the manager and ceo of that company ever again

Hi all,

As the title suggests, I want to know if there are consequences associated with quitting a company in just 3 weeks.

I've joined an early stage startup as one of the first few hires in the product team. The pay and work is reaso...

Anyone ever left job without having another job lying around for their mental peace?

I am thinking of leaving my current job and focus on myself, getting to know myself better etc. Currently I have enough money saved for my expenses for next 6-8 months. Everyone I have asked about this say don't leave your job if yo...
