I work in corporate banking, and sometimes you mess up. I was really tired, our workdays are typically long and bad.
Had a request to transfer $$s from one account to another instead we ended up transferring all of the amount (huge number).
Customer frantically called me up my team, I was busy, didn’t answer and then the escalation happened.
We finally reversed the transaction. But yeah i took a hit on my reputation.
Can we please have more fuck up stories like these please. This is great 😂
Means the person authorising the transaction also made the same mistake? There are usually minimum. 2people so that this does not happen(and hence is rare). Also, how did you get the authority to reverse funds from another account? Usually one does not have access to the another bank’s account that you just ‘reverse’ it.
