Probation period .
Is there any chance that EY can terminate after probation even after working for a client and not having any negative feedback .
Thanks in advance
Don't tell, join them first Do not try to anticipate what can happen
Bad idea to switch jobs at this point given you will also serve 60 days notice. I have seen an exact similar case in my team. The lady joined Deloitte and announced her pregnancy just after 3 months , which meant she would leave for 6 months maternity leave soon. The manager instantly removed her from good projects and started keeping her more on admin work since she can’t be involved in long term projects. She could hardly make an impact before she left for her maternity leave or any meaningful professional connections. When she came back, as obvious she was not able to contribute properly because her infant kept her busy. She was struggling. All this would mean nothing in a place where she would have already established herself but in a new space, she struggled and finally left. She is a good friend of mine so I know how it felt. Hope this helps you take a good decision. All the best.
Absolutely correct
Hey Myself from EY itself . It completely depends on what partner you will be working with how supportive and understanding is your partner .Nothing like that they would revoke offer or don't confirm you post Probation.
It's completely your take what is more important to you at this .
All the best and congratulations 👏🏻
Thanks 🫰
Better to speak with HR , or else it will be na Idhar ke na udhar ke
You are in Deloitte. Coming to EY doesn’t makes sense if you are in Technology Consulting area. Congratulations first of all :-).
If you are one month pregnant, technically you got 8 more months. I believe you will join EY by 4th month of pregnancy. Then You got just 2 months for delivery and I believe it will be difficult for you to complete probation. The basic criteria to complete probation is to complete training’s. Being on bench is still not a major issues. If you are joining EY in few days the story will be different.
Consider speaking to your hiring manager about this. If they are aware, it might make things much easier
Stay put
