
How much ESOPs to ask for at a Series A startup?
I am interviewing with a Series A FinTech startup.
Negotiating for 25-30LPA. Along with this, how much ESOP value should I be asking for?
Typically what's the % of ESOPs in your CTC?
Eg. Seed -> Series A. What percentage of your CTC should be ESOPs across stages?
What ever number they say triple it. If they up their offer immediately , run... the business won't sustain for long.
If they stand ground , they might reconsider. Agree to the next offer.
If they say no immediately, then join them. Probably yocan encash your esop ithe future.
