How much ESOPs to ask for a 7+ year PM role at a Series C $3B SaaS startup?
Wondering whether 1.5x or 2x of base pay is high or low. Currently working at a fintech seed stage startup with 0.3x of base pay as ESOP.

1.5 x your base pay. Negotiate your way down to 1 x if they don't accept it. Don't compromise on your base pay. These recruiters sometimes will try to reduce your base to increase your ESOPs.

Generally, speaking your ESOPs at a senior level should be at-least 1.5 of your base pay. But then, if you ask for higher base, they may reduce their ESOPs.
Definitely, check the vesting schedule, because you don’t wanna miss on that.
