I have been terminate in Jan. Its almost end of March now. I have been applying since Feb. But still i can see application in progress status in the careers page of the companies. Usually how long it takes to get another job after being terminated/laid off?
Best way to get a job offer is sending a dm/connection request to the recruiter on LinkedIn. Applying in careers page or 3rd party platforms like tophire instahyre naukri will rarely get you any calls. Use these platforms to send your application, but once you have sent it, send dm to the recruiter in LinkedIn. You will have much better chance of scheduling an interview.

Make sure you are prepared for the interviews because even after applying to a lot of companies and lot of dms, you would want to convert the interviews to a job offer given the market situation. Don't think you will study things on fly. You don't want to miss out on opportunity that you get.
