Gonna Quit tomorrow. No idea what to do next.

I have the worst luck anyone could imagine. Recently joined new org, the project for which I was hired got shut down and now I am being moved to a role which is not at all what I signed up for. Currently working in Supply Chain Management specifically Warehouse Management.

I am so fed up with this on floor roles. Want to work in role where I get to use my brain. Going to learn programming. No idea how to start. Can someone help me in finding a path to a better job. For me a better job is anything that pays more than 7LPA which is remote and the skills required are in demand and can be learnt in few months.

Thanks in Advance.

Too many requirements for tough market. If you have expenses to last you a year, only then quit. Warehouse management won't hurt your CV more than a gap would. You don't know how long this gap could extend.
You can always word experience towards supply chain if that's what you are focused at

Thank you so much for your valuable insights. How can I invest my time to learn new skills if I don't get any? plus it 6 days working and sometimes we have to work on Sundays as well.

Have a offer letter in hand before quitting.

I really wish I had. I have some leads but this current role is so hectic it consumes 14-15 hours of my day and I am learning nothing new. It's the definition of a Toxic workplace. I believe I can use this time in a better way. Besides the notice period is of 45 days. Something shall come by the end of it.

I won't quit without an offer if I were you. Tough shut, weather it out, keep working on your profile , be mentally positive, good things will come.

Stay strong bro, don't quit without offer inhand, gap will affect you badly in current market situation won't even get interview call, it better you stay at your job, it ok if it take time to switch anyway market is not good, chances of you joining a good company are less

Good luck buddy! It will be tough, but it could be the best decision when you look back at this time a few years later ✌️
