Feeling Guilty for my wife 🥹
Hello Everyone,
This is a heartfelt request from my side. I’ve been meaning to write this for a long time but couldn't find the right words until now.
My wife is an Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC) engineer and was among the top performers throughout her academics. She scored 96% in her 10th, completed her Diploma from a Government Polytechnic, and later earned her BE from a reputed engineering college. She even worked with TCS (third-party role) and in a core electronics company for a year. She graduated in 2017, but since 2019, she had to pause her career to care for our daughter – a role only she could handle at that time due to certain circumstances.
Now, as our daughter has started school, I can see the spark in my wife's eyes dimming. Though she never says anything, I can feel that she’s missing her career – her passion, her identity. For the past year, I’ve been sharing her CV within my network, but since I come from a non-IT background, I haven’t been able to connect her with the right opportunities.
It’s not about money. It’s about her talent, her dreams, and the career she once began with so much dedication. Every day I leave home with a heavy heart, feeling helpless for not being able to support her the way she supported our family.
So today, I’m reaching out to you all. If you know of any opportunities, returnship programs, upskilling platforms, or have suggestions that can help my wife restart her career in IT, please share them with me. Even a small lead can make a big difference.
Thank you so much for reading this and for any support you can extend. It truly means a lot to me – from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

https://www.flexjobs.com/blog/post/flexible-companies-with-return-to-work-programs 15 Companies With Return to Work Programs (Returnships) like this has few. Accenture also has.

Thank you 🙏 I'll check in detail .

Kotak Mahindra Bank also has such program

I almost cried reading this. No doubt that the situation is extremely difficult for her but it's a relief that she has a supportive husband like you.
You know her capabilities. I am sure you guys will sail through this and hope she gets a job soon. She definitely deserves it.

Thank you for your kind word 🙏♥️

Hi, I have also restarted my career after a 6 year gap with an IT company called - Incture. Please check if there are any openings. They give a restart option to many women- with career gap as well as army wives who are always relocating. First 6 months was internship, with a stipend of 20k, after which they confirm you.

Thank you very much I will definitely apply here for her.🙏

It’s great that you are supportive and you have found a gem as your wife. Most of the women nowadays do jobs so that they can get married to a rich guy showing their status and leave the job thereafter. She is willing to work that’s really great. You guys can reach out to people over linkedin and ask for referrals in their companies. Also tell her to keep her profile updated in naukri. That’s a great platform and she can get calls from there. There are many companies like IBM, Accenture etc who supports returning mothers.

Thank you for your insights we have updated resume on naukri but due to carrer gap we don't receive any call we will try on linkdin.
