What's the value of your ESOPs when allotted to you and their worth now? Or they just melted like soap?
ESOP are the only way to make outsized gains, way beyond any CTC. In my first startup i got 10L of ESOP that became 4cr.
Most people see them as useless, mainly because they think it's smart to swap company every few years for a 20% hike and never see the benefits of owning ESOP.
Most of my ESOPs from previous companies are SOAPs 😂
