Discuss: Recurring Meeting - Good Vs Bad.

I have a couple recurring (weekly+biweekly) meetings on my calendar. Today I got a peek at a mid-leader's calendar at my company, this bloke had at least 5-7 recurring meetings every week, he/she forgot his/her screen was still visible to all.

My stance is: sometimes I look forward to catching up other times it's just like ticking a checkbox of corporate things to do.

Depends actually. Most teams need a recurring call to keep every Stakeholder in the loop.

But I've also worked with some proactive teams where recurring calls aren't even necessary. They just work diligently, are proactive in their communication and try to ease up processes from their end.

Apologies, by recurring I meant 1:1 catchup calls. Sorry if it came out as team wide recurring calls.
