Dealing with idea-stealers
How do you deal with someone else taking credit for your ideas in front of leadership? Asking for a friend.
Some more context. My friend, female, discussed some ideas on a project with the person in question, male. He's a new joinee with impressive pedigree. He went and presented those ideas as his own to a key leader. The leader was impressed. My friend wasn't able to get a word in, even though she's been around for much longer at the company. How would you deal with this?

Ugggh, shit bag. Me and my work friends have always made it a point to tell said senior about who's idea it was. It made us relaxed and genuinely willing to help each other - it's like a real family - everyone's work is everyone's. Your friend needs to be tight lipped around this new bitch, zero help.
