Dealing with a intellectually bankrupt boss

My new manager is completely devoid of common sense, an absolute yes man, doesn't listen to existing employees opinions and views who are below him, asks the same question atleast 6 times, and results in zero learning. Given the bad job market, I am stopping myself from quitting almost daily. What to do?

Nothing. BTW, why are you giving opinons/view? You manger is paid for that. Let him do his job. One must learn to delegate to the manger as well. As an employee i learnt this after a few years. I proudly say , iam a "yes man". i only tell my manger what he wishes to hear. When things go wrong, he will blame it on other teams. I never share an opinion until am asked for directly.

Just smile when he says something. Smile is the cheapest weapon to cure an evil

And show your work in mail and meetings to your managers boss...this will bring him on knees.

Look for a new job. Hold on till you have a replacement and then quit. I understand your plight, having a Yes man boss is bad for mental health because the onus of setting expectations with seniors comes on to you despite being a junior. It will scar you, but it will also build a good habit of saying no to junk.
