It is one of the most annoying moments when you run out of time on a coding assessment. It is even more annoying when you had to cut pase the solution code into the window after completing it from an alternative window.
I took this ML Engineering Assessment of 90 minutes today with Pro5.ai (not worried about naming it since I’m gonna fail this anyway) which had a variety of ML domain specific questions, where I completed all the questions and had 20 minutes left to code up a text cleaning module. I had to do it on a google colab notebook, which I did with about 1 minute 30 seconds remaining and I couldn’t tell where to download a python script for the colab notebook. Finally by the time I downloaded it and went to upload the code into the ML assessment text box, the system ran out of time. Because the 1 minute 30 seconds for actually 30 seconds 🙃
Simply frustrated that the test itself wasn’t very hard and I couldn’t manage the time well in order to ace it, which I could easily have done barring the coding question and one other aspect.
