HRs how do you feel after layoffs?
Although you become the face of layoffs and you have to abide by what's instructed, how do you personally feel after a event like mass layoff?
What steps do you take to avoid or minimise the impact in such cases?
Most of the queries asked here should be sorted easily if an HR can respond with their insights, but i rarely see any HR participating in discussions, maybe we don't have that many HR's here ?
Or
maybe you folks want to stay the same as you are on the job, totally useless.
HRs don’t even respond to pings or emails and you want them to respond on GV
lol.. so true. ...
respond on this thread if you are an HR, going forward will tag you when we need your help
They're too busy ghosting candidates.
They are busy in organising Rangoli competition.
Had cleared the bar raiser at Amazon. Hr ghosted me. When I called back, she says, you'll have to wait one more month because the hiring manager has moved ahead with an internal candidate. Then why tf was I interviewed??? She says they're looking for similar roles internally and will require leadership approvals which will take a month's time. I'm in despair. And I'm hopeless now.
My HR ghosted after 3 weeks of interview 🙂I really don’t have energy to expect a response here 💁🏻♂️

What is background verification ? How it is done if a person worked for multiple companies how do they verify this?
Not super bullish. Lots of $$s that they raised came from russian sources.
Have noticed over the course of time, one of the clearest marks that somebody might be an asshole:
HR folks are like this
HR people will act all “we are only a huddle/call away” in townhalls but don’t reply to the dms for days.
