Accepting an offer after Rejecting

Is it a good idea to accept an offer after declining it? Have any one of you ever rejected an offer because of some concerns with that company but after around a month you realise that the company and the compensation offered was good and you should have gone along with them. So is it a good idea to mail them regarding the same and ask if the offer letter still holds?

There is no downside in reaching out and trying your luck. Unless you have burned your bridges or rejection has been ugly, they would be more than willing to consider, if they haven’t filled that position already and you are able to explain what made you change your heart.
