Senior Software Engineer
Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our high-performing team in Bangalore. In this strategic role, you will architect robust solutions, lead technical implementations, and mentor junior team members. Working directly with the CTO in a hybrid work environment, you will drive innovation and ensure engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable full-stack applications using NestJS and PostgreSQL.
- Drive architecture decisions and establish technical standards for the team.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Spearhead code reviews and implement engineering best practices across the organization.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance our technical capabilities.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
What We Look For
Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with demonstrated expertise in NestJS, PostgreSQL, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong system design skills with experience building and scaling production applications.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and effective technical communication skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to make impactful technical decisions in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and driving technical excellence.
- Comfortable working in a flat hierarchy with direct reporting to the CTO.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: 5+ years in software engineering with a focus on full-stack development.
- Bonus Points: Prior experience in a startup environment and a proven track record of impactful technical leadership.
