Senior Backend Developer
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our innovative and fast-paced team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web-based applications while solving complex business and technical challenges. You will work closely with the founder and cross-functional teams to drive seamless integration of new features and continuous system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable web-based applications.
- Lead high-level system design and architecture, including functional modeling and module breakdown.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization in large-scale distributed systems.
- Implement incremental architectural enhancements and conduct impact analysis to improve system robustness.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering growth and skill development within the team.
What We Look For
Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Java, Node.js, Golang, Python, C, C++).
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
- 2-6 years of hands-on experience in coding and tackling large-scale technical challenges.
- Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and work collaboratively.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: 2-6 years of hands-on experience in coding and solving large-scale technical challenges.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from a tier-1 institute (or equivalent experience).
