DevOps Engineer
Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system reliability. Working closely with engineering and product teams, you will ensure seamless development-to-deployment workflows while actively contributing to system uptime, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on platforms such as GCP and AWS
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes using tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Monitor application performance, system logs, and uptime, and respond to incidents with proactive resolutions
- Manage containerization and orchestration utilizing Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes
- Perform regular backup procedures, conduct failover testing, and develop disaster recovery plans
What We Look For
Skills:
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, with a strong preference for GCP
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems
- Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Skilled in infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Strong networking fundamentals including firewalls, DNS, and load balancing
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python
- Excellent problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, agile environment
Qualifications
- Required Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering
- Bonus Points: Experience in a high-scale B2C startup environment, exposure to cost-optimization strategies on the cloud, and an understanding of security compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO)
