Lead SDET
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead SDET to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the automation testing of our cloud management platform—driving our automation testing strategy, ensuring high-quality product deliverables, and mentoring a team of skilled QA engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the automation testing effort for our cloud management platform.
- Create and maintain comprehensive automation test cases and test suites.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate automation tests into the development process.
- Work closely with QA team members to identify, document, and resolve defects.
- Implement automation testing best practices and continuously enhance the testing framework.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts utilizing Python.
- Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.
- Monitor and report on the progress and results of automation and performance testing efforts.
- Mentor and manage a team of automation QA engineers to drive excellence.
What We Look For
Skills:
- Expertise in automation testing and performance testing.
- Proven experience in leading and managing automation testing teams.
- Strong proficiency with automation testing frameworks, including Robot Framework.
- Advanced experience with Python programming.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience testing cloud-based applications, with a good grasp of AWS Cloud services and ecosystem.
- Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A strong passion for automation and performance testing.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: 8 years of overall software testing experience, including:
- 5 years in Automation Testing (API/Web UI)
- 1 year in Browser Compatibility testing
- 1 year in Mobile Application testing
- 2 years working with Robot Framework
- 2 years working with Python programming language
- 2 years working with AWS Cloud
- 1 year of team handling experience
- 1 year of performance testing experience (preferred)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
