Community Engagement & Events Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly proactive, people-first Community Engagement & Events Manager to join our team. In this role, you will drive engaging conversations and create high-signal content across digital platforms while planning and executing memorable offline events. You'll play a key part in monitoring community health, fostering user interactions, and collaborating with product and design teams to refine our app experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create insight-driven content on topics such as salary trends, company culture, and industry movements.
- Initiate discussions, run polls, and post engaging threads across the Grapevine app and social channels.
- Write witty, thoughtful replies that spark conversations and encourage users to return.
- Plan and execute end-to-end events including casual meetups to large-scale gatherings—managing everything from concept and invitations to logistics, execution, and post-event engagement.
- Monitor daily community health by tracking activity, discussions, and user sentiment while swiftly addressing any blockers.
- Actively engage with users through direct replies, probing questions, and nudges to maintain a strong feedback loop.
- Design and run playbooks to grow and retain the community by spotting trends, testing ideas, and scaling successful initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to provide user insights and suggest features that enhance engagement loops.
- Convert high-quality community discussions into SEO-optimized pages and assets to drive organic growth.
