Role Overview
As a Software Engineer in Frontend development, you will be at the forefront of creating an intuitive and dynamic user experience for our React-based application. You will play a pivotal role in developing, refining, and optimizing our cloud management platform, from ideation to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance features for our modern, React-based cloud management platform.
- Create reusable front-end components and libraries for future use.
- Actively review designs and wireframes while proposing UX improvements.
- Document design decisions and code changes with thorough precision.
- Translate wireframes into high fidelity, responsive user interfaces.
- Write robust unit tests, engage in bug fixing, and perform code reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management and platform development teams.
- Participate in the full application lifecycle, from feature ideation to testing and deployment.
- Proactively monitor and optimize front-end performance.
What We Look For
Skills:
- Expertise in developing front-end applications using React (Functional Components, React Hooks, Redux).
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API integration and front-end development tools (Yarn, Babel, Webpack, NPM).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, continuous deployment processes, and test-driven development practices.
- Proficiency in using Git and project management tools like Jira.
- An eye for detail in UI design and a passion for crafting visually appealing, user-centric interfaces.
- Familiarity with CSS pre-processors like SASS.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: 3+ years of professional software development, including 2+ years working with React and 2+ years with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Bonus Points: Demonstrated experience in building and managing reusable UI components or libraries, along with a proactive and creative approach to optimizing application performance.
