Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain backend services, including scalable APIs (REST/gRPC), fault-tolerant systems, and clean, testable code.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval across relational (Postgres/MySQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra/Scylla DB) databases, including schema design, query tuning, and caching.
  • Ensure robust observability with metrics, logs, and traces while delivering backward-compatible, reliable releases.
  • Contribute to architecture design, resolve scaling and latency bottlenecks, and drive improvements in performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into production and define data contracts with frontend/product teams.
  • Partner with DevOps for smooth deployments and system monitoring.
  • Mentor peers and advocate best practices in coding, testing, and design.
