You'll be a good fit if you have

  • 3ā€“6 years building/scaling data infra in fast-moving, product-led teams
  • Taken raw event streams ā†’ defined schema ā†’ built pipelines ā†’ delivered ML-ready feature sets
  • Experience with both real-time (Kafka / Flink / Spark Streaming etc.) and batch (Airflow / dbt / BigQuery etc.)
  • Worked closely with ML + Product to enable rapid experimentation, A/B testing, and model iteration
  • A systems mindset ā€” you think in terms of data contracts, privacy, observability, SLAs, and schema evolution
  • Curiosity for ranking, recommendations, personalization loops ā€” and how data directly moves user experience
  • Excitement to be the founding data owner who architects event taxonomy, feature store, embedding flows, feedback loops
