Working in non tech feels like a punishment

Going through an extremely rough patch, 29M, previously have worked for a number of start ups it was going really good, I was proud achieved some good numbers, lately from the last 1 year getting butchered in the marriage market, although I have a decent salary of 30L + 60L stocks, getting rejected purely on my background, I often think did I make a mistake by not up skilling earlier, more into analytics or data or PM. Life has become hell and i have lost confidence in myself.

30 LPA is less according to girls? 60 L is of 4 years right?

Have you considered a homemaker wife?

my cousin is also facing the same issue. In the marriage market only IT jobs sell. pay is irrelevant here. any non tech role is seen as a lower profile. Manufacturing is mostly avoided. I guess people assume manufacturing is more like daily labor.

Bro, trust me it's not because of the non tech background. Have you ever tried a girl's dating/matrimony app? Their pool is just a lot bigger, and you have to stand out. Even if you have an IT job there's a huge competition.
