Will AI take away coding jobs?
I know this is quite a sensitive topic but I'd rather face the truth.
A couple of months ago, I was less worried, but now looking at the pace of development in IDEs and tools to help with software development, coding has been made much much simpler.
Do you really think AI will take away jobs?
One interview, 1000+ job opportunities
Take a 10-min AI interview to qualify for numerous real jobs auto-matched to your profile 🔑
Yes. 99% of coding jobs.

I feel so too. So what's next for software devs?

Coding is literally a tool to build Now you will be able to use Ai as a tool for building stuff

Take away is debatable and unknown. But reduce the number of coding jobs - Yes.
In fact already started happening and leveraging AI is still at initial stages .

Read.ai damn good tool, basically eliminates the need for a program manager

Most of the coding jobs in the Safety-critical systems, such as healthcare, autonomous vehicles, etc, would continue to exist as no one (yet) wants to trust a black box technique. For programming jobs in web development etc would be greatly affected

Who will code the AI?

Most of the white collar jobs are going to be replaced by AGI in 4-5 years
