Have heard that their wlb is really shit and culture is toxic (even more than Amazon !!)

Every company is toxic 🤷🏽‍♂️ Hard to find ones with good culture. How are things at Uber?

"Every company is toxic" - No, absolutely not. Things at Uber are fine.

Finally my time to shine..... I recently left navi... So I know what I'm talking about.

If you stay at navi for long you'll not be able to recognise yourself; this company will turn you into someone who has no respect/empathy for their peers. you'll not think twice before calling someone at 11 PM if it means you get to deliver your stupid little feature "on time" There is an org wide culture of people working day and night; 1 am qa testing/bug fixes/deployments are a norm.
You're expected to be available at all hours; anyone can call you anytime in the name of meeting impractical timelines. The person on-call is expected to grow 10 heads and work 18 hours a day and also on the weekends even if there is no prod issue. Its a blatant normalisation of a toxic dictatorship. Unrealistic timelines have to be taken religiously otherwise you get to see the dark side of toxic ego driven incapable leaders. Leave/wfh culture is so bad they practically make you beg for it... Anything more than 5 days and You've to get ceo's approval for it. I had requested for A 2 day leave and My manager asked if I had done something really good recently... Citing which he could get an approval from his manager about my leave 😂 No one to look upto as none of the managers/leaders show any skill/trait which is worth learning. Most of them have had over-inflated career graphs who're still stuck here because they lack the skill-set to survive out in the wild

Each and every comment on Glassdoor is true... Terrible culture... non existent wlb... Little to no learning... Blame driven culture where every team is trying to save their ass... Juvenile managers trying to act cool at the expense of their reportees. They've somehow made the CEO a god/demon everybody is shit scared of... People stop breathing at the sight of him typing on some thread in the anticipation of What he might say. 👹 I could go on and on.... But you get the idea.

CEO hustles a lot. If you want to get rich in next 3-4 years join. Their products is good, better than HDFC I will say. Great upsides on esop.

They are gonna sure shot do ipo. And go even more aggressive once they get a banking license.

It's a loan. Lending is as old as the written script.

Product and all has to be smooth conversion in digital loans, but their interest rates are through the roof. They have also let go their Risk, Product, Business teams last year, so 3-4 years is eternity

HDFC is not a standard, HDFC is negative in terms ranking any digital experience

I guess go there if u want a short career, bad health but massive TC jump

DizzyMarshmallow
DizzyMarshmallow

It's not massive... They somehow have this god complex that no one can match their tc. Lot of good companies are there who're offering similar or even more. Don't pimp out on your mental health. -ex navi employee

From what Ive heard from friends working there, working hours are 12+. They go to the office at 10 and come around midnight. Also the ceo has fired entire teams in front of anyone. For leaves you've to get permission directly from the ceo

They don't even have a CTO.... Ex CTO is now heading HR for some reason 🧘‍♀️
