It is a big myth that gvmt is taxing salaried employees to the hilt. Although I do agree taxes are high but the gvmt actually treats salaried employees with kid gloves.
Try running a business, then people will understand what tax terrorism is. Many people face lot of difficulties just to get a GST registration. Business men are able to evade taxes because the learn, and think how to. Salaried employees are lazy. How many even attempt to learn to file ITR?
When it comes to small business and cottage industries the gvmt actually gives a lot of leeway. The problem is cities are too isolating people. Too much elitism, and people spend most of the time in YOLO mood.

To be honest. Government hates everyone who earns be it Gov. or Private Employee.. If they loved Gov.
