People like options, and it's best if you own most all the options. Better conversion. A parallel from a different industry. Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, Realme, Narzo, IQoo - All brands are owned by the same Chinese company BBK Electronics. Each has say 5-20% share each. But the combined market share is now >60%

It's just cross selling to engage users more on Flipkart. And the supporting infra is all cleartrip and they get new channel/ingress point for their business.

Much larger userbase, flipkart users will find it easier to book ticket on the flipkart itself rather than going to cleartrip. Also, cleartrip is so less popular these days, compared to other similar website.
