Which Health Insurance do you have apart from the ones provided by your employer?
Please do share what's the cover you have taken. Also, do you look only for claims settlement ratio or are there any other factors that were considered while finalizing?

@BrisbaneBunny
Why do you want to move away from star health ?
Been paying a higher premium for a relatively lower cover with Star. ICICI Lombard has been pitching for a much higher cover with lower premium (almost 50% less than Star). Have also been hearing a lot of complaints about Star in my circle and also online. Not getting a positive feeling about it.

Either go with ICICI LOMBARD or HDFC ergo. If you need a helping hand check beshak.org they guide you with all the processes including claims and reimbursements.
If you want to do DIY, check freefincal of pattu sir. You will get detailed knowledge about selecting Health insurance.

I moved from star to hdfc ergo

ICICI lombard - claims, coverage and waiting period

Niva Bupa health insurance

Aditya birla group insurance policy

I have HDFC Ergo suggested by https://joinditto.in . I suggest you to book a call with them and take your time with the suggestions they’ll provide and chose the plan which best suits your need.

ICICI Lombard user since several years. Had to take claims several time, process went very smooth without any hiccups. Cover is 20L for me, spouse and 2 children. Living in tier 2 city so cover is more than enough. Company health insurance is separate though.

Just get a callback arranged by ditto. Generally the top 3 are icici, hdfc, niva
@SandyDrake96 @PriceyStone @droidnil my salary account is with ICICI in my current org. ICICI Lombard has been chasing me for a while now with their Health Shield 360 plan.
